How will massage help me?
The answer varies for each individual and their circumstances but everyone can benefit from regular massage. For most, the benefits of regular massage are reduced stress levels, improved circulation and less tension in muscles. Regular massage can also help emotionally as unexpressed emotion is often held in tight muscles. It will also assist recovery time following injury and surgery.
What is the best massage for me?
A full consultation is given during your first visit and I will recommend the type of massage that would be most suitable and beneficial to you.
How long will my massage last?
Your massage will last between 25 minutes and 1¼ hours depending on the type of treatment that you have. All treatment times can be found on the website within the appropriate section.
How long should I have reflexology for?
I recommend a course of six reflexology treatments to begin with which will ‘kickstart’ your body into eliminating toxins and begin re-balancing. It would then be beneficial to maintain the treatments on a regular basis.
What should I wear and will I need to undress?
It is best to arrive for your treatment in loose, comfortable clothing. For most of the massage treatments that I offer, (excluding Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Seated Chair Massage) it would be best to undress down to your underwear. You will be left to undress on your own and you will be given towels to cover yourself with. Only the parts of the body being massaged will be exposed.
Towels are positioned appropriately if I need to turn my clients over to ensure minimum exposure. My priority is that you feel comfortable at all times and if you are not happy to undress, I can massage through clothing.
